Sneak Peak of 2008 Collection

I finally got one piece done. Here's a sneak peek of one of my 2008 collections. When I designed this dress I thought of Spain.

The dress is made of Crinkled Cotton Gauze by Michael Kors. I really love how this dress turned out. I think I might want to try to make a bolero to go with it.

This dress will be listed for $139.99 on my website early next year. But of course I will have a trunk show sale on Ebay first with lower opening price.

New Fabric for 2008 Collection Arrived

Just got my fabric from New York today. They will be for my 2008 collection and I am sooooo excited. The fabrics are just gorgeous, I wish I could have a close-up photo of them.

The pale green one is linen by Giorgio Armani, it is sooooo nice and soft. The red one is Crinkled Cotton Gauze by Michael Kors, I really love how rich the red color in this fabric. And finally the pale blue-grey lilac crepe is by Vera Wang, it is so soft and flowy, perfect for a dress. All fabrics are made in Italy.

Soooo looking forward to work on these fabrics and put them on my website. Hopefully I can finish a set or two by the end of this year and put them up in my website and auctions early part of January.

2nd Charity Auction

Next Project - Part of Spring Collection

O.K, I'm starting to build my spring collection again now that the baby is born. Gosh, it's so hard to find time to design and sew lately. I try to do some designing when all the kids take naps or at night time after all the kids go to bed and just right before my bed time.

I made some patterns the other day and start to sew bit by bit since yesterday. This type of dress is just all over Vogue magazine lately, and I thought it would be cute for little girl. And since my spring collection will have some mediterranian theme, I chose this olive color for the dress.

I still need to finish the arms and put some zipper in, and also hem it. I'm thinking about sew some belt loops in or maybe a couple of round pockets on either side of the dress. I am not sure which one I want, or maybe I shouldn't put either one. I don't know, what do you think?
