Order update for Susan - UK. Garment type: Silk chiffon maternity dress.

The midriff is sewn in. It might look a bit wide right now, it's because it has seam allowance, it will be a bit narrow when the dress is finished. The next step will be sewing in the sleeves or the skirt and its lining, and then the lining of the bodice.

Sneak Peeks, AnthologyInc Design Launch

Charity Launch

Hi Sian,

The first skirt is almost done, all I have to do is to hem and press it. Your other fabric just arrived an hour ago, so I took the pic as well. I will work on it as soon as I finish with the first skirt.

Your patterns are made and cut, and I try the patterns on the muslin. It's a practice fabric. All other adjustments and alterations will be done at this point and after everything fit nicely I will then cut and sew the silk.

I will sew in the muslin sleeves and midriff today.

Order Update, Client: Sian - UK

Here's your order update Sian. As you can see on top of my working table here, I've cut the front and back part of the skirt. The next step will be to sew the darts, cut the front and back facings, attached the invisible zipper, hang it for a couple of days to let all the stretch out since I cut the fabric on the bias .

The fabric for your second skirt will arrive in the next few days.

Pin-Up Art

At night right after the kids go to bed and I can't sew anymore, I sometimes do my art work, it helps me relax. And pin-up is my specialty. Here's one that I'm working on right now. Does anyone know who she is? :)
