Lime Green Dress

This soft lime green dress is part of my 2008 collection.

The fabric is 100% pure linen by Giorgio Armani, very luxurious and super soft, just the best linen I've ever seen and touched. The dress is fully lined with cotton blend and elastic back for that perfect fit. The bodice features knife pleats and sash on the back.

Check out my website (the girls section) to see more infos about it :)

Little Victory

Most of the time it's a struggle to get the kids to eat right. That's why I try as much as I can to sneak in some veggies into their diet. I made this super easy meal, made out of puff pastry dough, mixed frozen veggies contains carrots, corn, green beans, and peas, I pureed them so they can't see the shape of the veggies, and a little bit of velveeta cheese.

And for dessert, I gave the kids homemade blueberries and banana popsicles, and they loved it!

So anytime they eat fruits and veggies, it's a little victory to me :).

I finally got a chance to mail the dress to my cute model. And just received pics back last night.

Don't you just love the pic of her with the puppy?!

Couture Techniques

I've been trying to better my couture techniques lately. I do a lot of thread tracing now, do a lot of handstitching, and try to use as less pins as possible on the garment fabric.

Boy, call me weird, although it is very meticulous and time consuming, I find that it is very therapeutic too. I kinda enjoy and appreciate the proccess. Also now I know why they charge hundreds even thousands of dollars for a really haute couture garment.
