I've been trying to better my couture techniques lately. I do a lot of thread tracing now, do a lot of handstitching, and try to use as less pins as possible on the garment fabric.
Boy, call me weird, although it is very meticulous and time consuming, I find that it is very therapeutic too. I kinda enjoy and appreciate the proccess. Also now I know why they charge hundreds even thousands of dollars for a really haute couture garment.
